Hi everyone!

I decided that instead of trying to keep up with 3 blogs, I'll do one here on my website and then continue contributing to the Author's Studio blog.  This one will be all about me, my writing, and what's going on in Shannon's world.  Stop by the Author's Studio blog for wonderful information on the craft of writing.  We discuss many different topics to assist the writer in their journey!

My latest writing news is that my short story, Fired or Fired Up, is now availble for purchase!  It's included in the GOIN' Down Anthology, Book 1, released by Aspen Mountain Press and you can get it here.

I'm extremely excited about this - it's my first publication!!  If anyone happens to check it out, please let me know what you think about my story.  I love hearing readers' comments!
