Why did I become a writer? I have always been an avid reader of the romance genre - historicals and paranormals being my favorites. I wrote poetry and short stories throughout high school. I began my first manuscript in 2002 with the thought of writing for fun. When I told my best friend, Holly Greenfield (http://www.hollygreenfield.com/) that I was writing, she said that she was writing to and opened my world up to more possibilities than I could have discovered or imagined on my own. I'm now a member of CNYRW (Central NY Romance Writers) and RWA. I'm also a member of several online chapters including Celtic Hearts Romance Writers, Hearts Through History, and Erotic Romance Workshop. I'm also a part of an online critique group Writer Buddies. I love romance. I love dreaming up the hero and heroine and how they fall in love, what conflict they have to overcome to be together, every aspect of the story. It's an overwhelming thrill to jump into your story and write. I know I'll never be content without writing. What else is in my life? I work full time in a customer service field. Most of the time, I enjoy the work, but I'd much rather be a stay-at-home mother / wife. However, the bills demand that I work still. Someday that #1 Best Seller will be me....someday. I have a daughter and a son who are my world. I adore them and would gladly do anything for them, regardless who says they're being spoiled. They know right from wrong, their manners, and their responsibilities around the house, so I'm content to embellish upon them ever now and again. I'm married to a wonderful man who, after some discussions, now supports my writing and will - occasionally - stop bothering me when I'm at the computer. Ha! I'm still working on him...but I love him and never want to be without him, even if his softball hobby tends to take away every free weekend in the summer that we have. Moving on.... Aside from the above, I love the outdoors, Taco Bell Soft Taco Supremes, getting a pedicure, and being with my friends. I enjoy scrapbooking and photography and flannel pants and a t-shirt is my favorite PJs. That's me...
